My goals for 2018-19 year is to enrich all my students with the passion of playing and connecting within music. Incorporating subjects such as Math, English and Science, each student will be able to create, perform and recall music nomenclature using academic standards across each subject.
My curriculum is divided into K-1, 2-3,4-5, Middle School Chorus and Middle School Music History. These grades primary focus on the Orff Method, Dalcroze Eurhythmics and brief histories throughout the ages. Using our barred instruments, percussion buckets, melodic bookwackers, bells, singing and diverse media for history, I'm able to enhance our students musical abilities.
Today, my teaching style is directed by the needs of each students which fosters appreciation, enjoyment and a creative purpose to unfold.
