My name is Martha Kantor and I am teaching Spanish to students from Kindergarten through 8th grade.
I am originally from Mexico, where I received my degrees in Psychology and Law and I have been living in the United States for the past two decades.
Prior to coming to Arizona, my husband and I were living in Tennessee and Mississippi, places in which I taught Spanish and cultural competence.
Teaching has always been a priority for me in life. In Mexico, I taught Hispanic American and World Literature as well as Psychology courses.
Since I came to the United States working with the Hispanic community, teaching my language and developing an awareness of the Hispanic/Latino cultures have been important goals for me.
My teaching experience includes working with children, adolescents and adults. I have taught in public, charter and private schools, profit and non profit organizations and tutored students.
I am very thrilled to have the opportunity to teach Spanish at Val Vista Academy and to be the teacher of your children.
I like to teach Spanish using games, songs, visual aids, presentations, hands on activities, written and oral exercises, QUIA, Quizlet, etc.
