🌲❄️HOLIDAY SHOP❄️🌲

For those who are new to us, this is our 4th year bringing the Holiday Shop in-house. We shop all year round to bring high quality gifts to the students and their families. We shop for things that we wouldn’t mind receiving or giving as gifts ourselves.

This is an opportunity for students to learn to budget their money and spend wisely, while also experience the “Joy of Giving.”

Gifts are priced for a child’s budget, ranging from $1 to $5 (no tax is collected). Students should have taken home the Shopping Budget helper sheet and envelopes week of Thanksgiving Break. This will allow students and families to decide how much can be spent on each person. Our volunteers will use these sheets to assist students as needed with purchasing gifts within their pre-determined budget.

There will be limited quantities of items placed upon the tabletops for students to shop from. No additional items will be pulled out to ensure there are items for other classes to shop from.

Students will have limited time to shop, 15-20 minutes max. It is suggested that their shopping list be limited due to this timeframe.

💀🎃HALLOWEEN🎃💀 We had SO MUCH FUN at the Monster Bash partying with all of you! HUGE shout out to all our volunteers for making the night a huge success! We wanted to remind you of some rules to make Halloween at school just as fun! -No scary costumes, face paint, masks, toy weapons or other unsafe accessories, inflatables, or costumes that don't allow students to safely navigate their desks, classroom, and school day in general. -Athletic-style shoes must be worn. -Colored hair is acceptable. -Reasonably sized wings, big wigs, tall hats, and the like are acceptable, BUT students may be asked to remove them in class or to participate in recess or PE. Same for accessories like wands and such. NOTE: Kids play, create, and generally "be kids" when they are at school. Damage to costumes could happen, so we ask you to use caution in sending your child in expensive or "special" costumes, or the costume they plan on wearing for trick-or-treating.
