GOAL $25,000 - as always, 100% of the proceeds can be used as a tax donation. Donation collection will continue until 02/26/2026 - 21 days left.
**Student Participations are due to teachers by FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 6th. Even if your student is undecided, we suggest turning the form in. Once students see the course and all the fun their friends are having, they want to join in. A form must be received for this to happen.
Our students are doing AMAZING!!!
We have raised $15,223 which is 60% of our goal so far.
We have 222/375 students registered which is 59%. *Remember students receive and incentive just for registering!!
We had 51 shares of student pages last night which led the way for the most donations raised overnight so far! ($4,093)
Donor % Credit - 76% - this means that 76% of those who donated also covered the additional 15%. This means more money will be coming directly back to the school. THANK YOU!!!

Our Jr. Viper cheer is putting on a cheer clinic for our k-3rd graders! There will be a performance after for parents and they will also preform during the girls basketball game the next day!
The clinic will be Tuesday, February 17th from 3-6 with the parent performance immediately following.

Val Vista is partnering with the Valley Suns (G-League associate of the NBA Phoenix Suns) to host a night for Val Vista families! The date is Sunday, January 25th, at 2 pm. Check out some of our fun from last year! The Valley Suns put on such a fun show and experience!
If we sell at least 50 tickets, we will have the opportunity to high-five players before the game! The link is below. One lucky ticket will be chosen at random by me to win a goody bag from the Suns! It contains a mini-basketball and some other fun merch!

For those who are new to us, this is our 4th year bringing the Holiday Shop in-house. We shop all year round to bring high quality gifts to the students and their families. We shop for things that we wouldn’t mind receiving or giving as gifts ourselves.
This is an opportunity for students to learn to budget their money and spend wisely, while also experience the “Joy of Giving.”
Gifts are priced for a child’s budget, ranging from $1 to $5 (no tax is collected). Students should have taken home the Shopping Budget helper sheet and envelopes week of Thanksgiving Break. This will allow students and families to decide how much can be spent on each person. Our volunteers will use these sheets to assist students as needed with purchasing gifts within their pre-determined budget.
There will be limited quantities of items placed upon the tabletops for students to shop from. No additional items will be pulled out to ensure there are items for other classes to shop from.
Students will have limited time to shop, 15-20 minutes max. It is suggested that their shopping list be limited due to this timeframe.
