🇺🇸9/11 ASSEMBLY🇺🇸 To honor the events of 9/11 and those who serve our country, today we invited speakers from ASU's Center for American Civics Program to come explain their experience serving our country to 5th-8th grade students. Our speakers came from the VIP, or Veterans Inspiring Patriotism, program. We loved hearing their inspiring stories! Following the speakers, Mr. P answered questions about 9/11. In this particular activity in Ms. Js second grade, each table group was given a piece of paper to determine the things they have in common interest, once that was finalized, each group came up with their team name & handshake!
